COMPETITION TEAM The Competition Teams have won top awards in Ames, Des Moines, and Minneapolis. Competition Team auditions is open to any DWR student. The Competition Team is showcased at both Clear Lake and Hampton Recitals. The Competition Team travels to two competitions per year and an optional 3rd for all solosts.

March 13th Iowa Events Center Des Moines, IA
Mini Competition Team These dancers meet once a week for an hour and compete with two dances at competition. The current Mini Team consistes of 7 dancers between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. They will be competing in both tap and jazz catagories at Competition in the spring. Junior Competition Team These dancers meet once a week for and hour and a half and compete in Lyrical, Tap, and Jazz. There are currently 9 dancers on the Junior competition team all of middle school age. Senior Competition Team These dancers meet once a week for an hour and a half and compete in Lyrical, Tap, Open, and Jazz. They have a team that consistes of 10 members. This is a mixed team of College and High School dancers. Solos/Duets/Trios All of these options are available to members of the competition team. 6 solos are offered to the team from Ms Roxanna based on top Competition Team Try-outs highest scores. All other solos will be choreographed but the other instructors at the studio.
